Despair

It’s like plummeting,
Into eternal darkness
Will I ever escape?
Will I be lost forever?
Will they realize I’m gone?
I’ve lost my true love
So now, I am slipping away
The darkness surrounds the light
A gaping hole in my heart
Will it ever mend?
Nothing in my world will ever be the same
My whole life gone
My future never to exist again
My future, just a black hole
I’m still falling
