Oregon State Fair details shared

By Alejandra Ochoa

Every year in Oregon state there’s a big event in the summer, this big fun event is the Oregon State Fair! The fair isn’t free to get in you have to pay an amount of money according to your age. The fair is open for about ten days from 10am-11pm. This year it was opened from August 27th-September 6th . At the fair there are all kinds of things like food, rides, music, games, and animals.

Every year thousands of people go to the fair, and I am one of them. When you go to the fair, you have to pay a amount of money according what they are charging for your age. The amount of money that they charge is as follows: 12-64=$11, 65 and up =$6, 6-11=$6, 5 and under= free! If you don’t want to pay that much money you can purchase tickets beforehand at Safeway and they are much cheaper than paying at the fair.

They also sell different tickets, and those are for getting on the rides. They have different amounts of tickets for a different amount of money, like 40 tickets for about $25.

At the State Fair there are all kinds of things like food, games, concerts, animals, and the biggest things are the rides. They have delicious food. One of my favorite foods is the Curly Fries and my favorite dessert is Elephant Ears.

In the games you get to play different stuff to win different things or toys. They have some huge teddy bears that barely any people win. The concerts are good. There are different singers who come and sing or sometimes they even have performers. The animals are some of the things that little kids like to go see. Last but not least they have the big scary rides.

I hope you learned about the things they have like the animals, food, games, rides, and concerts. The fair is fun every year and you get to see different things. This year was really fun but tiring to me. Next year you should go to the fair again or if you haven’t gone at all go and you will see how much fun it is.
